The music's alright, but Don Cherry's a better hockey player than a singer, and a better coach than a hockey player. A few years back, I actually bought a purebred dog just like the Cherry's dog Blue. I named him Red, after the Flames and Lanny McDonald. Unfortunately, he died recently from severe preputial discharge.

R.I.P Red. Man's Best Friend.

ReplyDelete'm not really familiar with any music, my life mostly just focuses on sports and nothing else. I would appreciate if you got back on topic, although I'm very sad to hear about your dog Green.
ReplyDeleteJosiah Hughes: don't be shy. I'll be easy on you.
ReplyDeleteSara, don't you at least like the rock tunes they play between periods at the game?
Harry Belafonte's "Day-O" song, Blitzkrieg Bop by The Ramones, Come On Feel The Noise by Quiet Riot, Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex, Get Ready For This by 2 Unlimited, The Hockey Song by Stompin' Tom Connors, Jump! by The Movement which is a fun dance song with "Are You Ready?!" repeated in the lyrics, Put Your Hands Up In The Air by DJ Tonka, Song 2 by Blur (you know, the "Woo Hoo" song), Stayin' Alive by N-Trance, Thank God I'm A Country Boy by John Denver, We Like To Party by Vengaboys, We Will Rock You by Queen, Who Let The Dogs Out by Baha Men, YMCA The Village People, but I especially like it when they play current rock music. Have you heard of Creed?
I'm sure the dog is green by now, but it's a little too soon to joke about right now.
